Hon. Adomako-Mensah graduated from the University of Ghana in 2007 with a first class in banking and finance. He also holds a master’s degree in finance from the University of Ghana. He is chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Banking.

He was elected member of the Ghanaian Parliament for Afigya Kwabre North Constituency in the 8th Parliament of Ghana. He is member of both the finance and health committees of parliament. Prior to that, he served as staff of Fidelity Bank and GCB Bank Ghana Limited, between 2011-2019.
