Marlene

Marlene Forte took the oath of office as the Honourable Attorney General of Jamaica, when the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) Andrew Holness-led Cabinet was sworn in on 2016 March 7. She is a third term legislator who has served in both Houses of Parliament of Jamaica: Now as the elected Member of Parliament for the Constituency of Saint James West Central (since 2016 February 25); previously as Opposition Senator- Senate Spokesperson on Foreign Affairs
& Foreign Trade (2012-2014) and Shadow Minister of Health (2015 -2016 February); earlier, as Government Senator and State Minister of Foreign Affairs & Foreign Trade (2009 July -2011 December).
