2021 Global Parliamentary Forum

Building Back Stronger, Fairer, and Greener
date: 6.10.2021 | location: Online

The next Global Parliamentary Forum will take place virtually ahead of the Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group & IMF, from 6-8 & 11 October 2021, with the overarching theme “Building Back Stronger, Fairer and Greener”.

The Virtual Global Parliamentary Forum at the World Bank/IMF Annual Meetings (AMs) gathers parliamentarians from around the world to engage in dialogue with World Bank and IMF Senior Management. Participants will have the unique opportunity to share knowledge with their peers and high-level experts about the most pressing development issues and look collectively at public policies and best practices to face the current global challenges. This year’s Forum will put a special emphasis on climate change, the role of youth and the private sector in international development, and the current global health priorities in the context of the COVID-19 crisis.
